Nepal's most beloved classic tour combines three completely different worlds: the ancient temples and living culture of Kathmandu, the Himalayan lake city of Pokhara with views of Annapurna, and the wildlife-rich jungles of Chitwan National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can spot one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and wild elephants.
Arrive at TIA. Guide meets and transfers you to hotel. Welcome dinner. Orientation briefing.
Tour Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath. Afternoon visit to Patan Durbar Square and its famous museum. Evening in Thamel.
Morning to Bhaktapur Durbar Square — 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, and Pottery Square. Evening preparation for onward journey to Pokhara.
Scenic 6–7 hour drive or 25-minute flight to Pokhara. Check in to Lakeside hotel. Evening Phewa Lake stroll.
Pre-dawn to Sarangkot (1,592m) for the iconic Annapurna sunrise. Breakfast. Boat to Tal Barahi Temple on Phewa Lake island. Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum. Farewell Pokhara dinner.
Drive south to Chitwan (approximately 4–5 hours). Arrive at your jungle lodge on the banks of the Rapti River. Afternoon: elephant observation at the Elephant Breeding Centre and a 1-hour canoe ride along the Rapti River — spot gharial crocodiles, marsh muggers, and hundreds of bird species. Evening: Tharu cultural dance show (traditional stick dance).
Full day of wildlife activities. Morning: jeep safari through the sal forest and grasslands — look for one-horned rhinos, deer, wild boar, and if lucky, Bengal tigers and leopards. Afternoon: guided nature walk in the buffer zone with a trained naturalist. Spot sloth bears, rhinos, and birdlife. Evening campfire and wildlife presentation.
Early morning bird watching walk. Breakfast. Drive back to Kathmandu (5–6 hours). Check in to hotel and free evening.
Breakfast. Shopping. Airport transfer. Farewell!
