KATHMANDU 03 NIGHTS + BHUTAN 07 NIGHTS WITH BUMTHANG: 04

Day 01: KATHMANDU
Morning arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu. Meet, assist at the airport then transfer to the Hotel. Briefing on tour itinerary. Afternoon sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath. Overnight.

Day 02: KATHMANDU
Morning sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Afternoon Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath.

DAY 03:  KATHMANDU – PARO (1 hr flight) – THIMPU (65 KM/ 1 hr)
Morning fly to Paro, you will be received by our representative. Afternoon drive to Thimphu. Check into hotel. Afternoon visit to National Museum (Ta-Dzong), Ringpung Dzong, after lunch drive to Thimphu and check into the hotel. In the evening visit Tashi Choedzong. Overnight.

DAY 04: THIMPU – PHUNAKHA (77 KM/ 3 hrs)
Morning drive to Punakha . On the way, stop at Dochula pass (3100 m) to view the most beautiful view of the entire Eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges. Besides, you will also get to see the 108 Miniature Stupas at Dochula Pass. On reaching Punakha visit the Punakha Dzong. Afternoon visit Chimi Lhakhang and Wangdue Bajo Town. Overnight.

DAY 05: PHUNAKHA – BUMTHANG (212 KM/ 8 hrs)
Morning drive to Bumthang Via Trongsa Dzong.  The journey takes about 5 hrs and is over one of the most scenically beautiful routes in Bhutan. Check in at the Hotel. Visit the historical Jakar Dzong. Visit several ancient and important monasteries such as, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Kencho Sum Lhakhang, Tamshing and Pema Samba Lhakhang. Overnight.

DAY 06: BUMTHANG
Morning drive to Tang valley and take a hike to the Ugyen choling Palace which is now converted into a museum. On the way back, also visit the Bumthang sheep farm. Also visit the Bumthang Swiss farm and the Member Tso “ The flaming Lake ” which is considered one of the most important pilgrimage spots.

DAY 07: BUMTHANG – PHUNAKHA (212 KM/ 8 hrs)
Morning drive to Wangdue. On the way visit Gangtey. Gangtey is a beautiful place situated at an altitude of 3000m. From Gangtey, one can closely view the picturesque black mountain ranges as well as the beautiful Phobjikha valley which is one of the biggest and the most beautiful valleys in the country. During winters, we can also see the famous Black Necked Cranes there. Drive further to Punakha. Overnight.

DAY 08: PHUNAKHA – THIMPU – PARO (142 KM/ 4 hrs)
Morning drive to Thimphu. After lunch Drive up to the BBS tower view point and enjoy the stunning view of the entire Thimphu town. On the drive back, stop at the mini takin zoo (Takin is the national animal of Bhutan). Visit Handicraft emporium, Memorial Chorten, Largest statue at Kuenselphodrang.  Then drive back to Paro. Overnight.

DAY 09: TAKTSHANG HIKE
Morning visit to (short trek) Taktsang Monastery (10 kms) from Paro Town. On the way back visit Kyichu Lhakhang. In the evening stroll around Paro Town. Overnight.

DAY 10: PARO – KATHMDNU (1 hr)
Morning fly back to Kathmandu. Afternoon Patan Durbar Square and Golden Temple.Evening Farewell Nepalese dinner with culture dance.

Day 11: KATHMANDU
On time departure transfer to the airport.
